Online Courses Available to Augusta County Students
All Augusta County students must complete an Economics and Personal Finance course. Students in this course also fulfill their virtual course graduation requirement by completing online components through FoolProof Financial Literacy or the state provided curriculum housed in our Moodle online learning management system. Students in grades 9-12 that participate in an Alternative Education program may take online classes through Edmentum or through our Moodle online learning management system. Credit is earned toward graduation and in general no tuition is charged for these courses.
Additionally, students who meet the requirements may participate in Virtual Virginia courses. Virtual Virginia provides AP and foreign language courses to students across the state. No tuition is charged for these courses, though AP test fees may apply, credit is earned toward graduation.
