October 2016
 
Presentation by Amy Pultz (Assistant Principal) from Valley Career and Technical Center will be here to present their programs to the 10th grade class. Students will be allowed to sign up to shadow a program of their choice in the Guidance Office.
 
Shenandoah Valley Governor's School Spend a Day's for potential candidates. Information was mailed home to parents/students in early September and those that returned their forms and expressed interest in attending will begin to Spend a Day on October 28th. Various dates will follow, students will receive reminders and additional information closer to their date.
 
PSAT - Held in the RHS Cafeteria on Wednesday, October 19th. Cost is $17.00 and students may sign up the Guidance Office. First come, first serve. Space is limited. All students planning to apply to Shenandoah Valley Governor's School are required to take the PSAT.
 
Report Cards will be distributed on October 20th.
 
Financial Aid Workshop hosted by GRASP Advisor, Bob Norvell and Bruce Hill will be held in the RHS Library on October 24th from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
 
October 26th @ 6:30 p.m. Lee Ann Whitesell (director at SVGS) will be here to give a brief presentation regarding Shenandoah Valley Governor's School for all interested parents and students.  
 
November 2016
 
November 2nd - Jostens Senior order day for any make ups that haven't purchased graduation materials.
 
Wednesday, November 9th - Ben Ham, teacher of the Dual Enrollment Manufacturing and Engineering Program will be here to present to students in an Agriculture classroom. Any additional interested students should stop by the Guidance Office for a pass to attend.
 
Mentorship Presentations will be held for all summer and fall mentorship placements on Wednesday, November 16th. 
 
November 30th - Counselors will be at Beverley Manor Middle School to begin the registration process for 8th graders that will attend RHS.
