SDHS students competed in the first ever Shenandoah Valley Electric Vehicle Grand Prix, which was based off a race held in DC for years. Students designed, wired, and built their own car. The race was based on engineering skill and driver strategy, and they won by two whole laps! They also won awards for best promo video and best vehicle graphics, so we'd like to thank our many local sponsors including Converge Local, McKee Foods, Dynamic Aviation, and UFP Industries.
