Purchasing a Chromebook

Some families have expressed an interest in purchasing a Chromebook for their students who do not fall in the planned distribution of devices.

Those who wish to purchase a Chromebook on their own can do so at any time; however, if the device is to be used at any school, we do require that the device be enrolled through the county domain. This means the student will need to use their Augusta County provided Google account to access the device.

Enrolling a Chromebook through the school gives you free access to our county-wide filter at all times. This provides a safer online experience for your student. It also allows for the device settings to be maintained to ensure the proper support of the device.
