Congratulations to the Wilson middle school boys cross country team who
went undefeated all season against local schools and took First Place as
a team at the Augusta County middle school championships yesterday. 6
Stingers runners finished in the top 20 overall and earned “All County”
distinction. Liam McMahon finished in first place and was the overall
individual champion. The other boy runners earning all county honors
were Drew Pumphrey, Nick Saunders, Landon Shaver, Caleb Eccles, and
Gavin Fortune.
The girls cross country team finished fifth place out of eight teams.
Annabella Saunders and Lilly Hall both finished in the top 20 and earned
all county honors.
