Meet Your Stinger Administration Team
Greetings Stinger Nation. We are delighted to introduce ourselves to our WMS community.
We consider it an honor and a privilege to serve our Wilson Middle School community. Together we have over 65 years of experience in education. We each previously instructed groups of students. Here is a little more about who we are.
Mrs. Sharon Hilbert - Mrs. Hilbert came to Wilson Middle School from serving as Assistant Principal at Beverley Manor Middle School. Prior to that she was a math specialist and classroom teacher also at BMMS. Mrs. Hilbert lives in Fishersville and looks forward to serving her community as Principal at Stinger Nation!
Mr. Josh Podgorski - Formerly a Special Education and Social Studies teacher in Augusta County. In addition, he has served as a coach for football, baseball, and wrestling. He graduated from Stuarts Draft High School. He earned his Bachelor's at Virginia Tech and Masters from Liberty University.
Mr. Andrew Grove - Started the first 9 years of his career as a Health and Physical Education teacher at Wilson Memorial High School after earning his Bachelor's from Radford University. He served as an assistant football coach during his tenure Wilson Memorial and completed his Master's in Administration from Shenandoah University. In 2015 he became the AD/AP at Buffalo Gap High School and spent seven years there before returning to the Wilson Complex in the summer of 2022.
