Last year’s Riverheads High School yearbook, “New Additions, Old Traditions” earned 2nd place in the American Scholastic Press Association competition. The ASPA is a national organization with more than 160 competing yearbook programs. Congratulations to the 2023 yearbook staff!
Notice of Public Hearing - February 1, 2024
The Augusta County School Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 7 p.m. to receive input as it pertains to the 2024-2025 Augusta County School Board Budget. The meeting will be held at the Augusta County Government Center, Verona, Virginia. All interested parties are invited to attend. Details for those wishing to speak are available on the “School Board” tab of the Augusta County Public Schools webpage (https://www.augusta.k12.va.us/page/school-board-meeting-dates). The regular School Board meeting will follow.
Reminder to Families: Schools will be closed for students December 18-January 3. School offices are open December 27 & 28 (unless your principal communicates otherwise). January 2 & 3 are Teacher Workdays/Professional Development Day. The first day of the second semester is January 4, 2024.
