Practice good hand hygiene including; washing hands with soap and water at least 20 seconds; washing after coughing or sneezing; using alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
Practice good respiratory hygiene including; using tissues to cover the mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing - dispose of tissues immediately in the trash can; if you don't have a tissue, cough/sneeze in your upper sleeve, not your hands, and wash your hands after coughing or sneezing.
In order to reduce the risk of spreading viruses, keep this in mind:
If your child is sick with fever, they need to be fever free for 24 hours, without medication, before returning to school.
If your child is vomiting or having diarrhea, they should not return to school until 24 hours after the symptoms have stopped.
