2022 VHSL Girls Basketball Playoffs Buffalo Gap High School Vs. Riverheads High School FEB 23, 2022 | 6:00 PM EST Staunton, VA Regional Events The Girls Basketball Regional contest on 2/23/22 will now begin at 6:00 pm Please remember that only VHSL Passes are accepted for Regional Events. Admission for Regional events is $8.00. Doors will open for spectators at 5:00 PM on Monday 2/23/22 for the girls contest.

This is a reminder that all ticket sales for the VHSL State Wrestling Tournament for Class 1, 2, and 3 to be held at Salem Civic Center, Salem, VA on February 18-19, 2022 will be online. Please be sure that all parents and fans that will be attending this event are aware that all ticket sales will be online. Senior Nights Girls Basketball/ Wrestling/ Indoor Track - 2/11/22 Boys Basketball/ Basketball Cheer - 2/15/22 We will be recognizing our senior participants for the Winter Activities listed on the dates above. The recognition will occur at the conclusion of our JV Basketball games. The JV games will end at approximately 6:30-6:45 PM. We ask all escorts to be present prior to 6:30 PM for the ceremony. Please hand out the attached document and get them returned to Mrs. Downs ASAP.

The Girls basketball games vs. Wilson Memorial scheduled for 1/7/22 have been moved to tomorrow 1/8/22 at 3:00 PM at Wilson Memorial High School. The Boys basketball games vs. Wilson Memorial scheduled for 1/7/22 have been moved to 2/7/22 at 5:30 PM at Buffalo Gap High School. The JV Girls game vs. PM will be moved from 2/7 to a date TBA. The wrestling match vs. Alleghany has been postponed and a makeup date has not been set at this time.

Exam Exemptions are in place for students that have achieved a 90 percentile or above. SOLs/PBAs are considered End of Course exams, therefore a final or other EOC is not required/needed. Non SOL courses should have a cumulative project/presentation or exam for the course. Therefore cumulative project/presentation (exam) could take place earlier or over multiple days. BGHS Students that are exempt from an exam should turn in a parent excuse note if they are going to be absent from school during the exam class period.
