Special Permission

Applications to request permission for a student to attend a school outside of the district in which the student resides must be considered on an annual basis.

The following factors are considered annually with each request for special permission that is received:

  • adopted criteria as outlined in the School Board policy

  • space available and acceptable student-to-teacher ratios in the specific grade-level at the requested school

  • appropriate student conduct

  • satisfactory grades/meaningful effort in classes

  • satisfactory attendance patterns

Applications will not be reviewed until all required documentation is submitted.
